Description
WLE7002E25D is a Dual-Band Concurrent 2.4+5GHz WiFi 7 (802.11be) module based on Qualcomm’s QCN6224, QCN6274 or QCN9274 ‘Waikiki’ series radio solution. This is a 2T2R (2×2) MU-MIMO 2.4+5GHz solution and is available in both commercial grade (QCN6224 or QCN6274) and industrial grade (QCN9274).
WLE7002E25D can deliver up to 20dBm per chain for 2.4GHz, and 18dBm for 5GHz and be able to transmit both bands concurrently. This is a perfect solution for customers who need to support multiple clients stretching across different frequencies in field applications. Based on a 3.3V design, WLE7002E25D is proven to be power efficient, yet still capable of delivering decent transmit power for better WiFi coverage. The cost-efficient diplexer design reduces the need for multiple WiFi antennas for transmission.
With up to 4096 QAMs, WLE7002E25D’s OFDMA feature is a perfect solution for Enterprise, Industrial, Cybersecurity, Transportation, and SMB applications or appliances. Multi-link operation (MLO) support reduces latency and helps to aggregate throughput, depending on device setup. Preamble puncturing supported by WLE7002E25D improves spectral efficiency by allowing a WiFi 7 access point (AP) to transmit a “punctured” portion of the spectrum channel if some of the channels are being used by legacy users. FIPS L2 is available as a unique feature on QCN9274, for customers who care most about the cryptographic protection of their product. Furthermore, with Compex acting as a value-added manufacturer, WLE7002E25D is not restricted to working just on Qualcomm’s ecosystem but also on 3rd party platforms such as Intel x86 and other ARM processors such as NXP and Marvell.
